What does the template include?
The template deploys a governed model and a ready-made overview in the Command center. It follows the layout described in One dashboard for every channel: read top to bottom, it answers "are we on track", "which channels drive it" and "what changed".
| Band | What it shows | Built from |
|---|---|---|
| Outcome strip | Pipeline created, signups, MER, total spend, each against target | CRM, GA4, ad platforms |
| Channel matrix | One row per channel across the six shared concepts | All sources, normalized |
| Trends | Weekly sessions and key events by channel group | GA4 |
| Diagnostics | Top posts, top queries, campaign ROAS, coverage list | Native platform data |
| Annotations | Launches, budget shifts, tracking and metric changes | Your team, plus automatic sync notes |
How are channels normalized?
Native metrics are mapped, not merged. Meta’s Views, for example, counts repeat views by the same person,1Source 1 · Meta for Creators, 2024Introducing Views to simplify content metricscreators.facebook.com so the template shows it as a Meta attention metric and never sums it with LinkedIn impressions. Visits and conversions use GA4’s default channel group as the single referee, including the AI Assistant channel for referrals from assistants such as ChatGPT or Copilot.2Source 2 · Google Analytics Help[GA4] Default channel groupsupport.google.com Search data comes from Search Console, where a click on an external link inside an AI Overview counts as a regular click.3Source 3 · Search Console HelpWhat are impressions, position, and clicks?support.google.com
Key metric definitions

| Qualified signups | Signups that meet your activation rule, from the product database or CRM |
| Pipeline created | CRM opportunities created in period, by original source |
| Share of voice | Your mentions ÷ mentions of you plus named competitors. See share of voice. |
| AI Assistant sessions | GA4 sessions in the AI Assistant channel (excludes Google AI Overviews) |
How do you run a weekly review with it?
The command center is designed for a 20-minute weekly meeting. Start at the outcome strip and only move down when something is off target. In the channel matrix, sort by the outcome that is furthest from plan and ask the channel owner for one explanation and one action. Use the trends band to check whether a change is a one-week spike or a new level, and close by adding annotations for anything that will make next week’s numbers look odd: a launch, a paused campaign, a tracking fix. Teams that keep this rhythm stop debating whose number is right, because every number on the screen has one definition and one source.
Weekly review checklist
- Outcome strip: which metric is furthest from target, and since when?
- Channel matrix: which channel explains most of the gap?
- Diagnostics: which campaign, post, query or email is responsible?
- Freshness: did every source sync since the last review?
- Annotations: is every launch and change of the week recorded?
Who is it for?
- CMOs and heads of marketing who need a weekly view of the whole program.
- Channel owners who want their work judged on comparable outcomes.
- Founders and RevOps who need marketing numbers that reconcile with the CRM.
Pair it with the Social media overview and the SEO → signup funnel for channel depth, or follow the full setup guide. See it in context on the Kimo Marketing product page.
